Mission Statement
“To provide respite and care which includes housing, minding and medical care to abandoned and abused children”.

Our love and concern for children who are the most vulnerable in the issues of maternal or parental demise, broken or dysfunctional homes, and sexual abuses including rape has made us expand our initial vision from women to children. Love Home Orphanage was officially opened to the public in December 2005. It marked its third year anniversary in December last year. Since inception, we have had cases of children brought into Love Home Orphanage  malnourished and almost at the point of death but God always prove himself faithful that after a couple of months they become totally transformed. We once had a case of two children abandoned on the street for months and were brought to us by the police. They were malnourished and one of them was very sick. They could not speak out but we knew they were not dumb. We took them to the hospital and afterwards placed them on a protein diet for months. To God be the glory, they are now healthy, can communicate very well and attends a nursery school in the neighbourhood. We have given care to thirty two (32) children and given up four (4) children for adoption. Presently seventeen (17) of our children who are of school age are in school and are doing well academically. Five private schools in the Magodo area have given scholarship to some of our children; we also have two (2) churches, some individuals and groups sponsoring some of them. We hope to have other children being sponsored as well, as we desire sound and quality education for them.

Various individuals, groups, families and corporate organizations visited and donated some gift items to the home, while some people also celebrated their birthday parties with the children at the home in the course of the year. It has indeed being a splendid year for the children as they enjoyed a great measure of love, care and gifts.

We all know that the well-being of children is very important for the progress of every nation. We therefore call on everyone (Individuals, Groups, Families, Organizations etc) to support and partner with us in your different ways to help ease the burden, the pain of the afflicted and to show some love to these children and to the less privileged in the society.
