AKOLEAJE, Peter, Esther and Mary - this set of triplet were admitted into Love Home under care and protection on 24th November 2006. They came in on compassionate ground because they lost their mother about forty-two hours after delivery.

Their father is a carpenter with very little income and the family had four other children (a single child and a set of triplets) before the arrival of this triplet. Their older siblings are doing well. Immediately they came in, they were taken to IFPF for medical examination and they were said to be normal babies but were seriously malnourished as they were being fed with pap before they came to the Foundation. They had their dedication on 3rd of December 2006. They are now doing well with good appetite and good sleeping culture. They are now on cereal and can sit well without any support.

The Real Woman Foundation operates an orphanage known as LOVE HOME, located at No. 7b, Jubilee Road Magodo Shangisha, Lagos. This home is specially for abandoned and abused badies. Here we offer a comfortable, caring and loving environment.

The aim of the home is to provide respite and care (including minding and medical care) to mostly babies whose mothers are not economically or emotionally stable to care for them. What we offer them is an atmosphere of a home where each child can receive critical attention. Our services are provided free of charge.

The Real Woman Foundation recently calculated the cost of raising a child from birth to age thirteen to be N2,414,880.00 for a middle income family.

This doesn't touch college tuition.
