| For Girls' Only to Visit School Around Nigeria |
For Girls' Only, a subsidiary of The Real Woman Foundationhas the following core objectives:
The core objectives of "FGO" are:
1. To prepare girls in secondary schools for their future with respect to avoiding abuse and rejection.
2. To educate them on how to groom themselves so as to have healthy self esteem, good etiquette and also maintain a healthy hygiene.
3. To teach them how they can live balanced healthy and emotional lives, so as to become nation builders.
The aims of the Programme are:
1.Educating girls.
2. Sexual abuse.
3. Personal Hygiene.
4. Power of choice.
REPORT OF THE "FOR GIRLS' ONLY" PROGRAMME AT OREGUN HIGH SCHOOL (F.G.O)
We are delighted to inform you that the very first seminar organized by "For Girls Only" an arm of The Real Woman Foundation held on the 10th of februar, 2005 at the Oregun High School was a success.
The day started at 10am with the registration of the students and at about 10.30am, the seminar kicked off nation builder.
An attendance of about three hundred and forty (340) students and their inclusive was impressive, even though we prepared for just two hundred (200) students. Two hundred "FGO" kits were package with each containing the following: Body spray, Everyday Sanitary Pad, Shaving stick, Close-up Toothpaste, One tablet of Toilet Soap and a Real Woman Mini book.
The contents of the "FG" kits were bought at the market from the RWF purse, however, we are hopeful that the corporate sponsors we wrote to (such as Procter & Gamble, PZ Industries, Unilever, CAP Plc, Coca Cola, Nigerian Bottling Company, Bel Impex Ltd, among other) will respond favorably. Though the call for sponsorship is not yet closed as "FGO" will be running a number of seminar in other secondary schools in the course of the year.
